I am a writer, independent scholar, and lifter. I am also the editor of Ultraphysical, an online journal of the active body. Most of my writing focuses on culture, politics, the natural environment, and wellness.
I have been published in multiple languages and featured in periodicals such as Quillette, The Brooklyn Rail, All Azimuth, Le Courrier (Japon), Alias Magazin, among others.
About
Educated and raised in the Northeast, I am a Fulbright Scholar and have worked and conducted researched across Europe and in Turkey. In 2018, I received my doctorate in Politics from the New School for Social Research, where I focused on the global politics of large-scale engineering projects and their impact on state formation during the Cold War. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in the Pennsylvania countryside and lifting weights.
